The University of the Third Age is a learning co-operative of older people which enables members to share an extensive range of educational, creative and leisure activities. Activities are arranged in interest groups - with meetings sometimes taking place in members' homes. There is a Third Age Trust under which the local U3As operate... and you'll find a branch operating in the Ivybridge area.
