This delightful and well attended concert held in the charming private grounds of Brownstone Manor Farm, Yealmpton by kind permission of Mr Michael and Mrs Diana Hockin was an undoubted success. The award winning TOTNES TOWN BAND played some magnificent music... and the NEWTON & NOSS UKELELES gave us a charming set, too. Cllr. Cane's nominated charities - The Dame Hannah Rogers Trust & St. Luke's Hospice both benefited magnificently from the generosity of the many guests.

A few months further on and many of Cllr. Cane's friends and supporters were at another fund raising event for the two charities - a cricket match in January! Devon C.C.C. sent a fine team - but their dashing opponents rallied to the cause...
