At the Annual Parish Meeting held in April, Brixton Parish Council agreed to support Yealmpton Parish Council's rejection of the planning application for the development of New England Quarry by Viridor.
Yealmpton Parish Council sent a well researched letter giving their reasons for this decision to Chris McCarthy, the Executive Director of Environmental Economy at Devon County Council.
